Sales Education Foundation names North Dakota State University’s Center for Professional Selling and Sales Technology in listing “Top Universities for Professional Sales Education”

Programs are recognized for preparing and placing top talent in professional selling roles

The Sales Education Foundation (SEF) announces the release of their 2014 list of Top University Sales Programs, highlighting North Dakota State University’s Center for Professional Selling and Sales Technology as one of the top programs preparing students for professional selling careers.

While employment rates remain flat for recent college graduates, top sales programs average over 92% job placement for their students, within three months of graduation. As noted by the Sales Education Foundation and Mike Krush, Director of North Dakota State University’s Center for Professional Selling and Sales Technology, students with sales skills improve their opportunities in the marketplace.

  1. Approximately 50% of all graduates with a business degree will enter the workforce in a sales-oriented role. Students with a sales education ramp up 50% faster and turnover 30% less than their non-sales educated peers.
  2. Sales graduates report their career satisfaction at over 77%. Average starting salaries for sales representatives, average over $56,000.00.
  3. Students from sales programs average 2.8 job offers before graduation.

The Center for Professional Selling and Sales Technology is the only academic center dedicated to developing the sales skills of North Dakota students within the 11 campuses of the North Dakota University System. To enhance opportunities for students, the center offers a certificate in Professional Selling that is available to all NDSU undergraduates.
