Vanessa Tibbitts, Oglala Lakota, serves as the Public Health Education Project Manager for the American Indian Public Health Resource Center under the Master of Public Health Program of North Dakota State University. Vanessa received her Bachelor of Science in Human Services and Master of Arts in Lakota Leadership and Management from Oglala Lakota College.
Vanessa has worked for the past ten years in the public health field in the Great Plains region. She is committed to promoting good health, preventing disease, and health care management and policy among American Indian peoples. Vanessa hopes to serve American Indians using the skills she has acquired professionally, through academia, and through Elders for the future of her people.
