Service on External Review Teams
The education part of CEMER's mission involves engagement in activities that support emergency management's development as a profession and academic discipline. CEMER education activities include:
- Development of emergency management curriculum and assessment resources
- Provision of consulting services related to emergency management program development, curriculum development, and assessment
- Participation as members of external review teams for emergency management higher education programs
- Participation in and facilitate dialogues central to the development of the emergency management discipline and profession through national and international working groups , workshops, seminars, conference settings, and training sessions
- Hosting developmental workshops and institutes to enhance teaching and research capacity in emergency management
