Language Learning and Processing Lab

Dr. Conwell is an assistant professor in the Department of Psychology at NDSU. She received her Ph.D. in 2009 from Brown University's Department of Cognitive and Linguistic Sciences. She spent 2 years as a post-doctoral fellow in the Laboratory for Developmental Studies in the Psychology Department at Harvard University and joined the faculty at NDSU in 2011. Her primary research interest is language development in early childhood, with an emphasis on the ways that the language children hear affects their acquisition of their first language.
