Raheem Williams is a research specialist for the NDSU Center for the Study of Public Choice and Private Enterprise (PCPE). His research interests include socioeconomic policy, fiscal policy, and financial economics. He previously worked as a labor market analyst for Allegis Global Solutions. As an undergraduate, he developed a background in applied research at the Research Institute on Social and Economic Policy. He also participated in the Koch Fellow Program at Strata, where he analyzed public energy regulations. He is the founder of The Policy, a public policy forum with an emphasis on empirical analysis. The Policy has a digital audience of more than 15,000. His writing has been published by Intellectual Takeout and shared with thousands of online readers.
Originally from the South, Raheem is looking forward to serving the state of North Dakota, learning how to hunt, and acclimating to the cold weather. He and his wife, Dima, live in Fargo.
