It is a pleasure to invite you to RAP (Research and Practice) on Blockchain. The conference is organized by the Center for the Study of Public Choice and Private Enterprise at North Dakota State University. It will take place in Fargo, North Dakota, on Saturday, Oct. 27, 2018. We invite you to submit presentations and papers for this conference.
Our vision for the conference is to bring together academic researchers and practitioners, policymakers and entrepreneurs to discuss the ways blockchain technology is impacting new and existing industries. We are seeking academic papers and presentations related to blockchain on topics including, but not limited to: cryptocurrencies, governance, smart contracts, regulation and social trust. We also encourage practitioners to submit non-academic proposals on the applications of blockchain in your industry (e.g., product lines, business models, other applications). These proposals can take different forms, such as individual, team or panel presentations. The conference is intended to showcase the diverse industries being impacted by blockchain, including finance, agriculture, law, real estate and photography, among others.
