Tenure Track Faculty Position - Discipline-Based Education Research in Organic Chemistry



The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at North Dakota State University (NDSU) is seeking to hire a tenure-track assistant professor in the field of chemical education starting in Fall 2018. NDSU has a strong commitment to Discipline-Based Education Research and the new hire will have an excellent opportunity to collaborate with peers. The successful candidate is expected to develop a nationally recognized and externally funded research program, teach organic chemistry courses at the undergraduate level and appropriate graduate level courses. Mentoring undergraduate and graduate (M.S. and Ph.D.) students is expected.
This appointment requires a doctorate degree in chemical education or chemistry with research experience in chemical education. Postdoctoral research experience and established publication record in chemical education are preferred.
