Scroll down to the bottom of the page for instructions on how to apply to the Criminal Justice program for full admission (for all Pre-CJ students, majors and minors).
This application must be completed and submitted to the Department of Criminal Justice and Political Science. To be admitted into the Criminal Justice Program, students must have: 1) completed at least 30 total credit hours; 2) achieved a minimum GPA of 2.75 across all coursework including transfer coursework; 3) completed at least nine (9) credit hours in required Criminal Justice courses (CJ 201, CJ 210, CJ 230, and CJ 270); 4) achieved a minimum GPA of 3.0 across Criminal Justice courses. Failure to maintain a 3.0 GPA in Criminal Justice core or minor courses will result in academic warning from the department. Students will receive notification via NDSU email. If the GPA falls below 3.0 for a second semester, the student will be administratively removed from the professional program or the minor; and 5) only one (1) re-take of any course is allowed.
A copy of your transcripts is required; unofficial is sufficient.
