  • R. John Scheider II, BS ’12 marketing, is the co-founder and chief marketing officer of 3Dom Fuel, a maker of print filament used in 3D printing. For about 30 percent of its product, the company uses waste or byproduct material from such items as coffee, beer and hemp. He and his company were recently featured on CNN Money.
  • Derrick Wolbaum, BS ’04 environmental design, BLA’04, landscape architecture, was promoted to senior associate at Rhodeside and Harwell, Alexandria, Virginia. He has 11 years of experience and recently completed the landscape design for a major mixed-use tower in Tysons Corner, Virginia.
  • Natalie (Cross) Parker, BS ’09 accountancy was named senior vice president, chief financial officer of the Citizens Bank of Edmond, Oklahoma. The position leads all financial and accounting operations at the bank. She previously was the lead financial institutions audit manager at Hogan Taylor, one of Oklahoma’s largest accounting firms.
  • Stephanie Howe, BS ’92 environmental design, BArch ’92, architecture, completed the American Institute of Architects Minnesota seventh annual Leadership Forum program. She is the owner of studio e architects, Glenwood, Minnesota.
  • Scott Howell, BS ’04 environmental design, BArch ’04, architecture, completed the American Institute of Architects Minnesota seventh annual Leadership Forum program. He is an architect for Cunningham Group Architecture Inc.
  • Christopher Willette, BS ’01 environment design, BArch ’01, architecture, completed the American Institute of Architects Minnesota seventh annual Leadership Forum program. He is a project architect with Elness Swenson Graham Architects.
  • Ryan Marquette, BS ’14 civil engineering, joined KLJ, an engineering, surveying and planning firm in Fargo.
  • Margaret Templin, 78, BS ’85 mass communication, operated Magic Touch Cleaning Service. She lived in Fargo.
  • Denis Svedjan, 77, BS ’62 pharmacy, worked in Herried, South Dakota; Wishek, North Dakota; and retired from Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, North Dakota in 2011. He lived in Hillsboro, North Dakota. 
  • Curtis L. Hofstad, 70, BS ’69 mathematics, was a farmer and served on the state Water Commission from 2001 until he was elected to the North Dakota House or Representatives in 2006. He lived in Devils Lake, North Dakota.
