  • David E. Allison, BS '87, electrical and electronic engineering, retired after serving 28 years as an officer in the U.S. Navy. He is employed as a civilian engineer for the Department of Defense. He lives in Lucas, Texas. January 2016
  • John Arthur Schmidt, BS '80, social science, was the Minnesota 2015 AA Assistant Tennis Coach of the Year. He won the same award in 2012. He will be retiring in June 2016 after 36 years of teaching in Alexandria, Minnesota. January 2016
  • Lance G. Loken, BS '85, earth science, MS '91, soil science, was named to the Advisory Board for the United Tribes Technical College, Tribal Environmental Science Department in Bismarck, North Dakota. He is president of Western Plains Consulting Inc. of Bismarck. January 2016
  • Kenneth Roseth, BS '81, construction management, joined Mortenson Construction as senior business development manager. January 2016
  • Michael Foertsch, BS '84, civil engineering, was named manager of Moore Engineering’s office in Bismarck, North Dakota. He has been with Moore for five years, primarily as the business development manager. January 2016
  • Larry Hagen, BS '83, leisure studies, was named manager of Turtle River State Park. He first started working for the North Dakota Parks and Recreation Department as a seasonal employee in 1978. December 2015
  • Paul Breen, BS '87, computer science, joined the Fargo office of Advanced Engineering and Environmental Services, known as AE2S, as a project coordinator. He previously was vice president of operations at Maintenance Engineering, Fargo. December 2015
  • Kathryn (Bauer) Wiltse, BS '80, art education, joined the North Dakota Soybean Council as an administrative assistant in the group's Fargo office.   November 2015
  • Julie Garden-Robinson, BS '86, MS '89, food and nutrition, PhD '94, cereal science, received a 2015 Regional Excellence in Extension Award. She is an NDSU Extension Service food and nutrition specialist and professor of health, nutrition and exercise sciences. November 2015
  • Kimberley (Bratholt) Wolf, AD '84, nursing, was named vice president of Service Line Development for Essentia Health West Region. She lives in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. November 2015
