  • Troy Uglem, BS ’97, agriculture, was re-elected treasurer for the North Dakota Soybean Council. He was also re-elected as a director and represents District 7, which consists of Grand Forks and Traill Counties. May 2016
  • Kathy (Kuh) Sauer, BUS ’92, university studies, was hired as accounting manager at Border States Electric, Fargo. She previously was vice president of administration at WCCO Belting, Wahpeton, North Dakota. May 2016
  • Daniel L. Carlson, BS ’90, business administration, joined Appareo Systems, Fargo, as a product manager for agriculture. Previously, he worked at Reynolds United Cooperative. May 2016
  • Jeremy Wyland, BS ’99, facility management, earned project management professional certification through the Project Management Institute. He has been a member of the project management team with High Point Networks, West Fargo, since 2014. May 2016
  • Todd Jelinski, BArch '92, architecture, was promoted to architectural department head at Lightowler Johnson Associates, Fargo. April 2016
  • Terry L. Phillips, BArch '90, architecture, was hired as a project manager at Lightowler Johnson Associates, Fargo.   April 2016
  • Eric Greiff, BS '97, civil engineering, was named a partner at Heyer Engineering, Fargo. He has been with the company for 17 years. April 2016
  • Shannon Lavin, BS '99, psychology, was promoted to insurance operations manager at Bremer Insurance, Fargo. April 2016
  • Jodi (Anderson) Melius, BS '93, leisure studies and recreation, and David Stordalen, BS '93, music education, are organizing a special 9/11 memorial event this fall in Rochester, Minnesota. They are bringing together the Minnesota Army National Guard Red Bull Division Band and the Rochester Symphony Chorale in a program that also will include speakers with civil service and military backgrounds. Melius is a member of the board of the Rochester Symphony Orchestra and Chorale and a singer in the Chorale, while Stordalen is the Red Bull Division Band director. The event is planned for the Mayo Civic Center Auditorium on Sept. 10, 2016. March 2016
  • Rebecca Lewis, BS '90, environmental design, BArch '90, architecture, was named to the American Institute of Architects College of Fellows, an honor awarded to members who have made significant contributions to the profession. She is a principal at DSGW Architects, Duluth, Minnesota. March 2016
