  • Scott Kolbinger, BS ’09, civil engineering, earned a professional engineering license in Minnesota. He is an engineer with KLJ’s municipal group in the firm’s Fargo office. February 2017
  • Chad Mason, BS ’08, electrical engineering, was selected as one of the first innovators to participate in a new embedded entrepreneurship program at the Department of Energy's Argonne National Laboratory. January 2017
  • Richard L Shea, BS ’08, economics, joined the Holt Law Firm in Litchfield, Minnesota. His main focus is estate planning, ag law and real estate. He also does work in family law, landlord/tenant and debt collection. January 2017
  • Aaron Hystead, BS ’06, business administration, is a project manager for Flint Group in Fargo.  January 2017
  • Samuel Thompson, BS ’08, business administration, was promoted to mortgage loan processor-closer at Cornerstone Bank in Fargo. January 2017
  • Michael Orth, BS ’02, agricultural economics, MS ’06, agribusiness and applied economics, joined the Kilbourne Group in Fargo as a construction management project manager. Most recently, he was an estimator/project manager with PACES Lodging Corp. and a project manager with Terra Pacific Midwest. January 2017
  • Amy (Steiner) Werremeyer, PharmD ’05, pharmacy, was elected to the board of directors of the College of Psychiatric and Neurologic Pharmacists. She is an associate professor of pharmacy practice in the NDSU College of Health Professions. January 2017
  • Craig Tschida, BS ’09, civil engineering, joined Apex Engineering Group in Fargo as a graduate engineer in the company’s municipal practice. He previously was a senior technical submittal coordinator at DeZurik Inc. of Sartell, Minnesota. January 2017
  • Melissa (Dessonville) Benda, BS ’08, business administration, joined Houston Engineering in Fargo as a human resources generalist. She previously worked for The Village Family Service Center and U.S. Bank. January 2017
