  • Dan Shultis, BS ’01, physical education, has been named dean of students and activities coordinator at Fargo’s Discovery Middle School. He will begin his duties on July 1. He has been a physical education instructor and sports coach at Fargo North High School since 2002. May 2016
  • Nicholas Berglund, BS ’05, civil engineering, was named a stockholder at Fargo-based Northern Technologies. He is a construction services manager/principal engineer. May 2016
  • Matthew Gehrtz, BS ’01, civil engineering, joined Gehrtz Construction Services, Fargo, as a construction manager. May 2016
  • Nathan Lotvedt, BS ’05, construction management, joined Gehrtz Construction Services, Fargo, as a construction manager. May 2016
  • Tyler Speich, BS ’07, crop and weed sciences, was re-elected board chair for the North Dakota Soybean Council. He represents soybean farmers in Ransom and Sargent Counties. May 2016
  • Anna (Matthew) Kalbus, BS ’04, hospitality and tourism management, was hired by Dakota Carrier Network as an accountant in its Fargo office. May 2016
  • Matthew Goecke, BS ’05, mass communication, was promoted to COBRA account manager at Discovery Benefits, Fargo. He joined the company in 2014 as a carrier operations specialist. May 2016
  • Jason Eblen, BUS ’02, university studies, received the Star of Life Award from the American Ambulance Association at a ceremony in Washington, D.C. The award is the highest honor an emergency medical service professional can receive and recognizes the dedication of ambulance service professionals across the country. He is a paramedic with F-M Ambulance Service. May 2016
  • Christina (Mooney) Haycraft, BS ’00, psychology, joined Catholic Charities of North Dakota as director of pregnancy, parenting and adoption services.  May 2016
  • Samuel Thompson, BS ’08, business administration, joined Cornerstone Bank, Fargo, as a customer service representative and teller.  May 2016
