  • Cody Baum, BArch ’02 architecture, joined Widseth’s Grand Forks, North Dakota, office and will oversee project management, engineering coordination, document production and quality control for firm.
  • Andrea Travnicek, BS ’01, MS ’04, PhD ’08 natural resource management, was named director of the state Department of Water Resources by North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum.
  • Clifford P. Christianson, BS ’06 microbiology, has joined Forward Mortgage, Fargo, as a loan officer. He is licensed in North Dakota and Minnesota.
  • Jonathan Matter, BS ’06 business administration, joined KLJ Engineering as a finance director. He is based in the firm’s West Fargo office, and is responsible for leading KLJ’s financial strategy and growth across the company.
  • Allison Wilson, BS ’08 animal science, joined Moore Holding Co., West Fargo, as a marketing account manager.
  • Mark Honzay, MArch ’09 architecture, was named a principal at JLG Architects. He is a registered Architect in North Dakota and has been with JLG since 2014. He  is recognized as one of the firm’s most experienced senior project managers, based in the Fargo office.
  • Jennifer Burke Jackson architecture, was named a principal at JLG Architects. She is a registered architect in North Dakota and has been a project manager with JLG since 2016. She works in the firm’s Bismarck, North Dakota, office.
  • Michael McLean, MArch ’07 architecture, was named a principal at JLG Architects. He is a registered architect in North Dakota and has been a JLG team member for 14 years. He works in firm’s Grand Forks, North Dakota, office.
  • Jakelle Hoffmann, BS ’04 apparel and textiles, was hired as development director for Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Red River Valley, a non-profit that supports families with children in the hospital.
  • Nolan Braseth, BS ’07 agricultural and biosystems engineering, was promoted to production superintendent at American Crystal Sugar Co.’s Moorhead, Minnesota, factory. He has been with the company since 2009.
