  • Jeffrey P. Anderson, BS ’84 business administration, joined Edina Realty in its Northfield, Minnesota, sales office. He previously worked more than 30 years with the U.S. Department of Treasury.
  • Michael Mathias, BS ’80 psychology, qualified for membership in the Million Dollar Roundtable. He is a wealth management adviser and financial representative with Gores Group of Northwestern Mutual. He lives in Fargo.
  • Russell Peterson, BS ’85 architectural studies, BArch ’86, architecture, is principal of Clever Architecture, St. Paul, Minnesota. His firm recently designed the new employees’ headquarters for BKBM Engineers, the PiM Arts High School expansion and is now designing the Minneapolis Impound Facility.
  • Jonathan Crump, BArch ’84 architecture, BS ’84, architectural studies, was promoted to associate principal at the Elgin, Illinois, office of Dewberry, a privately-held professional services firm. He is the firm’s national design director and has more than 33 years of architectural experience.
  • Thomas Fetch, BS ’81 zoology, MS ’84, agronomy, PhD ’96, plant pathology, earned honors in the “Marquis Who's Who” list. He is a research scientist and stem rush pathologist.
  • Richard Dusek, BS ’88 agricultural economics, was named executive vice president for the country operations division of CHS Inc. He has worked at the farmer-owned cooperative for nearly three decades. He previously was vice president for grain marketing, where he oversaw North American commodity trading, logistics and transportation and risk management.
  • James W. Nelson, BArch ’87 architecture, joined Lake Agassiz Habitat for Humanity as executive director. He previously was director of vendor relations at CoreLink Administrative Solutions in Fargo and part of Microsoft’s global real estate and facilities team.
  • Todd Branden, BS ’84 philosophy/humanities, was promoted to brigadier general in the North Dakota Air National Guard. He has served in multiple leadership roles at the 119th Wing, including Logistics Readiness Squadron commander, Mission Support Group deputy commander and Mission Support Group commander.
  • Jonathan Crump, BArch ’84 architecture, was promoted to design director at Dewberry, a privately held professional services firm with headquarters in Fairfax, Virginia, and more than 50 locations nationwide. He previously was senior associate at the firm. He received the 2015 Distinguished Service Award from the American Institute of Architects Eastern Oklahoma chapter for his involvement in the chapter’s Architects Registration Exam Study Program. He is a licensed architect in Minnesota and Oklahoma.
  • Daniel Dunn, BS ’88 political science, was recognized by the Great Plains Super Lawyers list for 2017 in the area of plaintiff’s personal injury work. He is an attorney with the Maring Williams Law Office.
