  • Scott Fossum, BS ’11 accounting, was promoted to senior staff accountant at Widmer Roel.
  • Matthew J. Nelson, BS ’13 accounting, was promoted to senior staff accountant in the tax department at Widmer Roel.
  • Tucker Richardson, BS ’12 industrial engineering and management, was promoted to manager of new venture development at Appareo, Fargo.
  • Alicia Harstad, BS ’10 crop and weed science, MS ’12, plant sciences, was named the state winner by the National Association of County Agricultural Agents in the Computer Generated Graphic Presentation category for a presentation that's part of the NDSU Extension's "Composting Dead Livestock" program.
  • Mary A. Berg, BS ’10 animal science, received the National Achievement Award, which recognizes outstanding educational efforts by a person with less than 10 years of experience with the Extension Service. She is the area Extension livestock environmental management specialist at the Carrington Research Extension Center.
  • Joseph Kallenbach, BS ’13 food science, dietetics, MS ’16, cereal science, joined the research and development department at Grain Processing Corp., Muscatine, Iowa, as an associate scientist. He will focus on new product development in the areas of feedstock processing and enzymatic bio-processing.
  • Dylan Weber, BS ’17 civil engineering, joined Ackerman-Estvold’s Minot, North Dakota, office as a full-time civil engineer. He is a member of the water resources team and will serve clients throughout western North Dakota.
  • Jeremy Nere, BS ’10 business administration, was hired as admissions director at the University of Wisconsin-Superior.
  • Connor Melvie, BS ’14 political science, began a one-year clerkship with the North Dakota Supreme Court.
  • Brian J. Clark, BS ’17 accounting, joined the audit department of Widmer Roel, a public accounting and business advisory firm with offices in Fargo, Bismarck and Hazen, North Dakota.
