  • Helen (Becknall) Brooks, 79, Diploma '55 Bismarck Hospital School of Nursing, was employed by the Clark County Health Department and University Medical Center, Las Vegas. She lived in Las Vegas.
  • Gerald Gredesky, 66, BS '74 horticulture, worked for Shotwell's Greenhouse in Fargo and was a rural mail carrier in Fairmount, North Dakota. He lived in Fairmount.
  • Russ Burfening, 93, BS '43 pharmacy, had a 34-year career with Upjohn Pharmaceutical. A basketball player while at NDSU, he later was inducted into the North Dakota Amateur Softball Hall of Fame and the North Dakota Officials Association Hall of Fame. He lived in Grand Forks, North Dakota.
  • Edward Liebe, 83, BS '58 civil engineering, worked for the Minnesota Highway Department, serving as assistant district engineer in Duluth, Minnesota. He was a Marine Corps veteran. Lived in Duluth.
  • Anton "Mokey" Dinius, 75, MS '68 educational administration, worked as a teacher and school superintendent in North Dakota from 1959-72; owned and operated a bowling alley/cafe in New England, North Dakota from 1973-78; owned and operated a mobile home court in Port Orchard, Washington; and worked at Burlington Northern Railroad for 18 years in Dickinson, North Dakota. He lived in Billings, Montana.
  • Verna (Scheerle) Giese, 94, Diploma '41 Bismarck Hospital School of Nursing, farmed and ranched with her husband on a family farm. She lived in New Salem, North Dakota.
  • Kenneth Kroll, 99, BS '37 pharmacy, was a registered pharmacist in North Dakota and Minnesota. He owned Kroll Drug in Warren, Minnesota, and participated in many groups, including US. Naval Reserve, Minnesota Pharmacists Association, Knights of Columbus, City Council, Chamber of Commerce, Toastmasters, Lions Club, American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars. He lived in Hopkins, Minnesota.
  • Nadine (Kuseske) Williams, 71, MS '66 entomology, worked as a volunteer for many organizations, including various PTA groups, Mrs. Jaycees, Hospice of the Red River Valley and RSVP Bone Builders exercise group at One Oak Place. She lived in Fargo.
  • Christopher Martin Toring, BS '92 business administration, is president of EnVision Insurance Marketing, headquartered in St. Michael, Minnesota. The company was founded in 2013, and in December 2104 received the Roger McCarty Wholesaler of the Year Award.
  • Heidi Eukel, PharmD '08 pharmacy, was appointed to the editorial advisory board of Pharmacy Today, a publication produced by the American Pharmacists Association. She is an assistant professor in the NDSU Department of Pharmacy Practice.
