  • Lacey (Richtsmeier) Bergh, BS ’05 nursing, joined Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota in Fargo as director of Clinical Wellness and MediQHome in the Health Network Innovation division. She previously worked at Sanford Health in Fargo as director of clinic operations, internal medicine and gastroenterology.
  • Dane Braun, BS ’08 agricultural economics, MS ’10, agribusiness and applied economics, was named to Prairie Business magazine’s “40 Under 40” list, which honors outstanding business professionals in the region. He was recognized in the “Rising to the Top” story in the December issue of the publication. He is the staff executive director of the North Dakota Farmers Union in Jamestown, N.D.
  • Daniel Abeln, BS ’06 environmental design, MArch ’07, architecture, was named to Prairie Business magazine’s “40 Under 40” list, which honors outstanding business professionals in the region. He was recognized in the “Rising to the Top” story in the December issue of the publication. He is project manager architecture for EAPC Architects Engineers in Grand Forks, N.D.
  • Shawn Gaddie, BS ’03 civil engineering, was named to Prairie Business magazine’s “40 Under 40” list, which honors outstanding business professionals in the region. He was recognized in the “Rising to the Top” story in the December issue of the publication. He is the Nexus Division manager for AE2S in Grand Forks, N.D.
  • Matt Fischer, BS ’03 speech communication, MS ’06, mass communication, was named to Prairie Business magazine’s “40 Under 40” list, which honors outstanding business professionals in the region. He is promotional consultant for S&S Promotional Group and COO of GW Gear in Grand Forks, N.D.
  • Dawn Kopp, BS ’01 apparel and textiles, was named to Prairie Business magazine’s “40 Under 40” list, which honors outstanding business professionals in the region. She was recognized in the “Rising to the Top” story in the December issue of the publication. She is the executive director of the Downtown Business Association of Bismarck, N.D.
  • Jaclyn Bugbee, BS ’00 accounting, was named to Prairie Business magazine’s “40 Under 40” list, which honors outstanding business professionals in the region. She was recognized in the “Rising to the Top” story in the December issue of the publication. She is executive director of Ruth Meiers Hospitality House in Bismarck, N.D. She previously held positions with the Bismarck State College Foundation and the St. Alexius Foundation.
  • Bridget (Curley) Bullinger, BS’ 07 dietetics, was honored as the Recognized Young Dietitian of the Year by the North Dakota Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics at the North Dakota Long Term Care Association Annual Convention. She is director of culinary services for St. Benedict's Health Center in Dickinson, N.D.
  • Jesse Tischer, BUS ’00 university studies, received the American College of Healthcare Executives Early Career Healthcare Executive Regent’s Award. He is chief operating officer of the Sanford Health Network in Fargo and Sioux Falls, S.D.
  • Jon Hanson, FS ’06 elementary education, joined Warner and Company as property and casualty commercial lines producer. He provides insurance expertise and solutions for businesses in the Fargo-Moorhead region. He previously worked for Verizon Wireless.
