  • Lynn Buschette, BS '93 microbiology, was promoted to lab analyst at American Crystal Sugar Co., Moorhead. She has been with the company since 1996.
  • Leah Lehn, BS '11 marketing, was promoted to manager/senior account management strategic partnerships at Discovery Benefits, Fargo.
  • Richard D. Olson, BS '91 mechanical engineering, was promoted to president and chief operating officer for Home Heating, Plumbing and Air Conditioning, Fargo.
  • Sarah Kasin, BS '14 hospitality and tourism management, was promoted to event services manager at the Fargo-Moorhead Convention and Visitors Bureau. She previously was the event services coordinator.
  • Steven Berseth, BS '71 physical education, MS '73, educational administration, was inducted into the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association Hall of Fame in December during the 2014 National Athletic Directors Conference in National Harbor, Maryland. The award honors retired members who had exemplary careers in athletic administration. He was employed by the Brookings, South Dakota, School District for 39 years.
  • David Boll, BS '04 computer science, BS '06, software engineering, was hired as a senior developer at Stoneridge Software, Barnesville, Minnesota. He previously was a tester and development engineer for Microsoft in Fargo.
  • Christopher Gross, BS '07 civil engineering, was promoted to project manager in the water resources department of Moore Engineering. He works in the company's West Fargo office.
  • Kurt Lysne, BS '06 civil engineering, was promoted to project manager in the water resources department of Moore Engineering. He is based in the company's West Fargo office.
  • Chad Wheeler, BS '08 crop and weed science, was hired as an agriculturist for American Crystal Sugar Co. He works in the Drayton, North Dakota, district.
  • Casey Walleen, BS '13 civil engineering, joined Sandman Consulting, a Moorhead-based structural engineering firm, as an engineer-in-training.
