  • Mike Schlosser, BS ’02 plant protection, was re-elected to represent District 3 for LaMoure and Dickey counties in the North Dakota Soybean Council board. Along with his father, Schlosser grows soybeans, corn and wheat.
  • Jason Kemp, MS ’06 nutrition and exercise science, was named assistant coach of the University of Minnesota men’s basketball team. Kemp is a Madison, Wis., native, who returns to the state of Minnesota after spending two seasons as an assistant coach at William & Mary. He helped lead William & Mary to a 21-11 mark in 2019-20.
  • Toi (Vandever) Sullivan, BArch ’92 architecture, BS ’92 environmental design, was named vice president of FEH Design. She is the first female vice president in the firm’s more than 120-year history. She is a licensed architect in the firm’s Sioux City, Iowa, office. Her role will expand to include executive board leadership along with overseeing the marketing department. She continues to be a principal designer for the firm’s educational, corporate and religious work.
  • Mark T. Anderson, BS ’78 agricultural economics, was named with his wife, Sandra, as “Outstanding Farm Leaders” for Clay County by the Red River Valley Development Association.
  • Briton Thompson, BS ’20 strategic communication, helped create Buzi Bus, a van service to help keep drunk drivers off the road.
  • Sarah Hoekstra, BS ’19 interior design, joined the team at ICON Architectural Group as an Interior Designer at the firm’s West Fargo office.
