CMS service

Faculty & staff accounts

To obtain the CMS service, NDSU faculty and staff should

  1. Visit the Enroll page at

  2. Click Continue and then log in

  3. In the left column, locate CMS under Available Services

  4. Click CMS

If CMS is listed under Your Services, you already have the CMS service

If CMS is not listed under either Available Services or Your Services, you should contact the ITS Help Desk to request this service

  5. Click the Yes I want the CMS service link

  6. In approximately 1 business day, you will have the CMS service. If you return to the Enroll page and see CMS under Available Services, your request has been completed

Staff and faculty from non-NDSU campuses must contact the ITS Help Desk to request the CMS service. Online requesting is currently not enabled for other institutions.

Student accounts

NDSU students who are employed by a university department may also have CMS service to complete their work responsibilities. However, they must contact the ITS Help Desk to initiate an account request. The student's work supervisor is required to confirm the student's status as a student employee before the request can be completed.

Get permissions to a specific site

The CMS service gives you the ability to log into CMS, not access to any particular page/site within CMS.

If you are a site owner, you will get access to your own site when it is created.

For all other account members, you should contact the site owner/manager to gain permission to the site. The site owner must log into CMS and use the NDSU Admin module to grant you permissions in his site.
