Competition Dates


 Kick-off day: September 20th - NDSU, Memorial union (doors open at 10:00am, event is 10:30AM TO 3:30PM)

At the Kick-Off day event the playing field is unveiled, game rules are presented, and kits are distributed. In addition, a series of educational breakout sessions are held. All teams are required to have a representative present at kick-off. It is not necessary to bring your entire team, however, it is recommended to bring as many team members as possible.

Mall Day: October 25th - West Acres Shopping Center (10:00AM to 4:00PM)

At the Mall Day event, teams are given an opportunity to practice with their robot on the playing field. In addition, robots can go through a pre-compliance check in preparation for game day. Participation in Mall Day is optional, but highly encouraged.

Game Day: october 31st & november 1st - shelly ellig indoor track and field facility, NDSU

On Friday judging takes place on the team exhibits, marketing presentations, and project engineering notebooks. There will also be time for practice driving and robot compliance check. Friday activities typically run from 8:00AM to 8:00PM.
On Saturday, the robotics matches are held. Saturday activities typically run from 7:00AM to 5:00PM.
