GEARS - Growing Engineers Aimed at Reinventing Science

Who: GEARS is a program for girls in grades 9-12

What: GEARS, or Growing Engineers Aimed at Reinventing Science, is an 8 week program for High School girls to explore the different engineering practices through two projects. By focusing on the two projects, the girls will be able to see what different areas of engineering work towards solving problems in their fields. This is a great opportunity for girls in grades 9-12 to be able to get a hands on opportunity to learn how to form scientific questions and solve them. We hope this program will help to encourage and empower high school girls to get a feeling of what engineers can do!

When: Tuesdays from 6:00-8:00 pm

Where: Classes are located in the engineering complex at NDSU
