Who: GEEK is a program for girls in grades 6-8
Looking for grades 3-5? Click here

What: GEEK, or Girls Expanding Engineering Knowledge, is the new name given to TechGirls for the Middle School girl’s age group! This program will differ from TechGirls in the sense the projects the girls complete but will go deeper into each topic and consist of 2 projects taking 4 weeks to complete verses a new project each week. Working on more advanced projects for longer will help the girls further explore the specific area of engineering taught, it will also give them an opportunity to ask more questions and really understand each topic completely. We hope this adjustment to TechGirls will help encourage, empower, and challenge the middle school girls this upcoming year and we are very excited to encourage engineering to girls of all ages.

When: Tuesdays from 6:00-8:00 pm

Where: Classes are located in the engineering complex at NDSU
