The NDSU Career Center provides the resources and professional assistance to help students understand what employers expect of them as employees, as an intern or full-time professional after graduation. It is important for today's college students to realize what kind of activities will develop the skills and give them the experiences that may advance their employability upon graduation.
Today's students must be focused, directed and connected to understand the importance of making wise decisions as they move through their years at NDSU. Securing an internship, participating in extracurricular activities, taking leadership roles, and developing solid interpersonal skills are all essential building blocks to becoming a competitive candidate for employment upon graduation.
The NDSU Career Center is the premier employment resource center on campus for all students and alumni. Teaching job search skills and techniques and helping students understand and identify their own talents to successfully compete in today's labor market is our highest priority.

Sara provides all engineering students a resource to help keep them informed and be prepared to enter their profession. Specialized areas include resume, interview and job search strategies, researching employers and professional development. If you need some quick career advice, your resume reviewed or help to apply for a position, call our office to set an appointment or feel free to stop in. Sara can also help with internship job search and registering your internship for academic credit to maintain your full-time student status while out on a co-op or internship.
