The Department of Construction Management and Engineering has well equipped classrooms, the computer lab, and teaching and research labs for its students. All of the classrooms that are used by the Department are equipped with a computer, a Blackboard course management system, an Internet access, a projector, a projection camera, a VCR, and a DVD. In April 2011, a video/lecture capture system was installed in the senior design classroom. In addition, the Department maintains the CM&E Computer Lab, the Concrete Materials and Performance Lab, and the Soil and Highway Materials Lab and shares laboratory space with the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering for the Geo-technical Lab and the Surveying Lab.
NDSU Information Technology Services (ITS) supports more than 1,000 computers in over 50 locations across campus. Wireless Internet access is available at most public locations on campus including student rooms, lounges, and study areas in residence halls.
The NDSU library system has a substantial number of books and periodicals that can be obtained from the North Dakota State University Main Library and a number of branch libraries. Students at NDSU can also use construction related books and periodicals from other libraries in the community: Minnesota State University at Moorhead, Concordia College, Minnesota State Community and Technical College and the Fargo Public Library.
