Though I was born and raised in Texas, I have lived in the Midwest for half of my life. I completed my bachelor's degree in Psychology and my master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at North Dakota State University. I started my post-master's counseling career at K-State in August 2019, and then had the AMAZING opportunity to return to Fargo and continue my counseling career at the NDSU Counseling Center!
My professional desire is to help all college students improve their overall well-being regardless if they are stuck in everyday life situations to trauma. As a Latina, first-generation graduate, and person of color, it is my desire to work with all underrepresented identities, and especially the LatinX community, first-generation college students, undocumented students, and BIPOC students. I also have special interest in working with anxiety and relationship issues with self and others.
Personally, I enjoy sipping on coffee, eating tacos, and spending time with my husband and dog.
