North Dakota State University, Coatings and Polymeric Materials Faculty Position
The NDSU Department of Coatings and Polymeric Materials invites applications for a tenure-track position, available immediately upon completion of candidate search. The appointment is expected to be at the Assistant Professor level, although a suitable candidate may be considered for a more senior appointment. Minimum qualifications include a Ph. D. in Polymer Science, Chemistry, Physics, or a related field, ability to attract external funding, effective communication skills, a collaborative research record and the ability to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in electrochemistry and corrosion science. Postdoctoral experience is preferred. We seek an outstanding individual who can establish a highly visible research program and develop collaborations across the university and with outside industry. Research area is open, but applicants must complement existing department strengths and maintain the unique, international reputation of the department in polymers and coatings science. The department is focused principally on graduate level education and research, but has a commitment to quality teaching at all levels.
