The Robert Noyce Scholarship Program is to enhance the quantity of and quality of secondary science and mathematics teachers across North Dakota and adjacent states. The recruitment of talented STEM students into a quality teacher preparation program should improve student achievement in classrooms throughout this region, as well as increase the likelihood for successful matriculation of secondary students into STEM programs at the baccalaureate level. These initiatives help address the National Commission on Mathematics & Science Teaching’s call for immediate, large-scale workforce preparation of students to address positions that will open in STEM disciplines.

More information on this program can be found on the Collaborations in Discipline-based Education Research's Noyce Scholars and Interns Program page.
