Elementary 2019 Band of Readers K-5

EDUC 2000

This class is an opportunity for teachers to explore recent books with excellent reviews and enjoy.  The students will also have a chance to reflect on these books might be useful for their own classrooms.


Students will:

  • Become familiar with a variety of current children’s literature;
  • Identify themes of books to use with their classes;
  • Build reading community by sharing thoughts and observations through a variety of online environments.
