List of K-12 Classes

This is a list of all K-12 professional development for teachers available through North Dakota State University Distance and Continuing Education.  To narrow your search for a class, you may use the search box to search by term, location, or number of credits.

Our professional development classes and workshops for educators vary in their eligibility for use in staff development, recertification credit for licensure, or pay scale advancement. Individuals should verify with their school district, certification board, or licensing board to ensure these courses will meet their individual needs prior to registering. Visit our registration page for more information on admission, cancellation policies, accreditation, and class delivery modes.

Class Updates:

As of 5/17/17: NDSU's K-12 professional development class number will change from 600 to 2000 (ex. EDUC 2000). Please note this change will be applied systemwide to the North Dakota University System (NDUS) institutions.

As of 7/20/15: In accordance with NDSU policy, only course participants who have enrolled and paid their fees by the enrollment deadline for each course will be considered enrolled.  In the case of a late registration, the original credit registration fee plus a late fee of $25 will be assessed.  Requests for retroactive enrollment will only be permitted until 4 weeks after the start of the course.

As of 8/27/14: NDSU DCE is no longer offering classes in partnership with third party vendors. Current NDSU students taking a professional development credit course through Learners Edge will be able to complete coursework following the current timelines and course deadlines that Learners Edge sent you with your course materials. If you are interested in taking a Learners Edge class please visit the Learners Edge website
