Course Description:

This course is designed to provide multiple channels for educators to learn about: (1) how online networks facilitate harassment and bullying; (2) how to recognize and distinguish forms of online harassment; and (3) policies and actions that can be implemented to combat online harassment.

Objectives:

Students will:

  1. Define and identify different forms of online harassment and bullying.
  2. Summarize and evaluate the work of key scholars in online bullying and harassment.
  3. Create a bullying policy action plan for their school district.

Course materials (schedules, handouts, readings, assignments, etc.) and grades are all accessed via Blackboard.
