NDSU DCE HEALTH & HEALING PROGRAM TO BE HELD MAY 20

NDSU Distance and Continuing Education will present “Hope, Health, Happiness and Healing” on May 20 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at the NDSU Alumni Center in the Reimers Room. This program will focus on the role of diet, stress and emotional intelligence in navigating the path to wellness.
Topics to be covered include:
- Nutrition- practical application- what to eat and why.
- Tips and strategies to adjust your diet, reduce your disease risk, improve mental clarity and have more energy.
- Strategies for stress
- Emotional intelligence and the health connection
Featured speakers are Dr. Scott Turner and Patty Corwin.
Dr. Scott Turner is the founder of the Red River Spine Associates and Institute for Complementary and Alternative Medicine in Fargo, ND.
Patty Corwin is a published author and award winning Sociology instructor at NDSU and is a motivational speaker and corporate trainer. Among her accolades is the prestigious Blue Key Doctor of Service Award. Her professional experiences as a college instructor, business owner, professional consultant, and former police detective have equipped her with many answers to the problems that exist in today’s businesses.
