Swipe Out Hunger is a national program designed for students experiencing temporary food shortages. To tide them over at NDSU, students may apply for dining center meals to be added to their NDSU student ID card. Students can then use the meals at any of NDSU’s three dining centers simply by swiping their card at the front counter. (Note: There is a 50 meal cap on the number of meals provided per academic year.)
This program is provided by the NDSU Food Insecurity Task Force through donations to the NDSU Food Security Fund.
The application is simple and easy. A member of the Dean of Students Office will be in contact with each applicant to confirm the meals and to work towards long-term solutions if needed.
