Student Rights and Responsibilities

Student Rights & Responsibilities supports the campus learning environment and contributes to student learning and the overall safety and care of the NDSU community.

Mission:

In support of the University's mission, the Student Rights and Responsibilities program fosters the development of personal accountability and commitment to community by helping students understand how individual decisions affect themselves and others.

Purpose:

Student Rights and Responsibilities works to resolve conflicts involving students accused of violating Rights and Responsibilities of Community: A Code of Student Conduct.  In addition, the office provides general advocacy and consulting services to students, faculty, and staff concerning behavioral conflicts both in and outside of the classroom.
