We’re transforming the Barry Hall Coffee Shop into the new Micro Market at Barry Hall, a modern, self-serve space designed to better meet the needs of students, faculty, and staff. This exciting upgrade offers more variety, enhanced amenities, and extended hours to fit your busy schedule.

    • Block plans will still be accepted!

Sneak Peek: The Future of the Micro Market

 

Our grab-and-go meals are restocked regularly for the freshest options. These meals rotate periodically and will include sandwiches, entree salads, sides, drinks, snacks, coffee, beverages, and desserts - like our signature Oreo cookie salad.
Updated ordering technology will provide a self-checkout station for a quick and easy way to pay.
The enhanced space will feature display cases filled with fresh grab-and-go meals, snacks, and beverages, including freshly brewed coffee by the cup.
A welcoming space with expanded seating areas, multiple microwaves for convenience, and ample plug-in stations designed for studying and charging devices.

We’ll provide a diverse selection of both hot and cold food options, including:

  • Homemade entrées like lasagna and mac & cheese (packaged for heating)
  • Soups (packaged for heating)
  • Fresh sandwiches, wraps, and salads
  • Grab-and-go snacks such as fruit, yogurt, cottage cheese, hard-boiled eggs, and veggies with dip
  • Freshly baked desserts and pastries
Can I still use my meal plan?

Yes! Block plans will continue to be offered. 

What will happen to the team members who currently work at the coffee shop?

We value our team members and appreciate their hard work! Current staff will have the opportunity to transition to other dining locations. Our goal is to ensure a smooth transition for both employees and customers.
