The Union Market

At the end of fall semester, the Union Dining Center will close for a complete redesign and renovation. The space will reopen fall 2025 as the Union Market, the newest addition to NDSU’s food court.

• The Breakfast Nook: Pastries, coffee, and quick breakfast classics.
• Comfort Cuisine: Serving up your Bison favorites, like popcorn chicken bowls and sesame orange chicken.
• Grab-n-Go: Freshly prepared sandwiches, entrée salads, sides, drinks, and desserts, like our signature Oreo cookie salad. Plus, multiple hot grab-n-go options and individual pizzas.
• Greens and Grains: Made-to-order salad and grain bowl creations.
• Marketplace Grille and Deli: It’s BACK and better than ever. Hot grilled sandwiches, like our famous Philly cheesesteak and grilled cheese sandwiches, plus hoagies, wraps, and our homemade soups.

Exciting New Features

• Updated ordering technology will provide mobile and kiosk advanced ordering for rapid pickup.
• Updated seating spaces, enhanced lighting, and improved acoustics.
• A centralized checkout, giving you the flexibility to select items from multiple concepts while only needing to pay in one spot.
• The Market will accept block meal plans, payroll deduct meal plans, Dining Dollars, and all other traditional forms of payment. Because this location is no longer a dining center, unlimited meal plans will not be accepted.
