- How will I know if there are people with disabilities needing accommodation in my class?

I have a student who is having difficulty in my class. I think this student may have a disability. What should I do to help the student?

I have a student who is having difficulty in my class. I think this student may have a disability. What should I do to help the student?
Talk privately with the student to discuss your observations. The student may reveal s/he has a disability or that s/he received special education services in high school. If this is the case, suggest that the student call the Center for Accessibility and Disability Resources for further assistance.
