DEMNDSU students blessed with guest speakers

Our speaker line up this week was amazing. Mary Senger, long time North Dakota county emergency manager, and Blake Nelson, Senior Continuity Specialist at Qualcomm and @demndsu alumni, both spoke in our Professional Development class. We could not be more grateful to them for sharing their time and valuable insights.

And an equally BIG thank you to MN HSEM Deputy Director, Kevin Reed, for talking with our students about the state role in homeland security and DEMNDSU alumns Katherine Mortenson, Mayo Clinic emergency management specialist, and McKinley Theobald, Assistant EM Director and Continuity Coordinator at Northeastern University, for speaking in our classes the week of October 15-19.

The student experience at NDSU is enriched by these experiences and they get more career-ready with each engagement!
