All students entering grades 7-12 may participate, regardless of skill level. Graduated seniors may participate as well. Daily sessions include fiction, poetry, creative nonfiction, screenwriting, song writing, and cartooning.

Study with professional writers and educators from North Dakota State University, Valley City State University, the University of North Dakota, and the community. The camp will culminate in a public reading.
In order to provide this opportunity to young artists across the state, and to accommodate for ongoing COVID-19 concerns, the 2021 camp will include both an in-person (at NDSU) and a virtual option. Lodging is not provided.
$200 in-person fee includes daily snacks and lunch. The fee for virtual participants is $150. Both costs include all materials, a camp t-shirt, and prize drawings.
