ND Governor's School 2011: English Studies

In 2011 our Governor’s School program in English Studies completed its third year and its first summer as a full-length venture. Students were introduced to the broad range of disciplines within English Studies, completed a variety of exercises and brief writings within each area, produced a film adaptation of a short story, and embarked on intensive independent projects. They also built their own online magazines from the ground-up—conceiving, designing, editing, and writing for these publications in a process very close to what real scholars experience.
