Heather Steinmann, Graduate Instructor

I have been teaching English at NDSU since 2009. I teach Creative Writing, Business and Professional Writing, and Writing in the Humanities. I am currently ABD in the department's PhD program. My research interests include the ancient Greek notion of kairos, the importance of aesthetics, and the creative process in art. My teaching philosophies include incorporating service learning and using literature in writing classrooms. I received a B.A. in English in 2004 and an MFA in Creative Writing in 2008 from Minnesota State University Moorhead.
