Ibtissem Belmihoub, Graduate Teaching Assistant

Office: Minard 318E30

I am a Fulbright participant from Algeria. I am doing my MA degree in Composition and I teach two sections of 120. I received my Bachelors of Arts in English and Foreign Languages at the University of M’hamed Bougara Boumerdes in Algeria. I became more interested in composition as a field of study and research while I was on a non degree program at Iowa Western Community College, Council Bluffs, Iowa. I took some classes that influenced my academic and professional career.

Some of my research interests are composition pedagogy, writing assessment, second language writing, writing instruction, and L1 vs. L2 learning.

Student Focused. Land Grant. Research University.
