Aimeee Hilgers, Lecturer

Office: Minard 316E

I am a Lecturer in the English Department teaching English 112: ESL Composition I and English 122: ESL Composition II for non-native speakers of English. I have an M.A. in English (Literature) and a B.A. in English with an English Education focus, both from Fort Hays State University. I also have graduate coursework toward a Master’s Degree in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL) from MSUM. I enjoy working with people from various cultures and discovering what we have to learn from each other.

I taught English at the secondary level from 1992-1998 and have been teaching English courses at the college level to both native and non-native speakers of English since 1998. In previous years, I taught at Concordia College, Minnesota State University Moorhead, and M-State Community and Technical College.

In my free time, I enjoy many hobbies: reading, creative writing, cooking, gardening, and being outside riding my bike or walking.  Most of all, I love spending time with my three children and husband.

Student Focused. Land Grant. Research University.
