Help and Support


Faculty and staff who advise undergraduate students will be granted access to the platform after completing the advisor training and the online FERPA training. To sign up for the training go to https://apps.ndsu.edu/event-registration/ and choose "Navigate" from the list of available trainings. If no trainings are available, please contact the Career and Advising Center at ndsu.cac@ndsu.edu or 701-231-7111. The FERPA training is located in your blackboard site under the Courses tab and is labeled "170-NDSU-FERPATRAINING: FERPA Training". If you do not have the FERPA training in your blackboard site, please contact the Career and Advising Center by phone: 701-231-7111 or email: ndsu.cac@ndsu.edu.

The Help Center within Navigate offers documentation for getting started, along with help articles and videos for advisors, instructors, tutors, students support services, administrators and students. 

Access the Help Center:
  1. Log in to Navigate
  2. Click ? in the top right
  3. Click Help Center

Navigate supports the latest versions of Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, and Internet Explorer. For best results, Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox are recommended.

How do I log in?

After you have completed the advisor training and the FERPA training, you may Log in to Navigate or go to the online services drop down menu on the NDSU home page. You will use your NDSU credentials to log in to Navigate.
