HOW TO FILE A DISCRIMINATION, HARASSMENT, RETALIATION AND/OR SEXUAL MISCONDUCT COMPLAINT

North Dakota State University does not tolerate discrimination, harassment, retaliation, or sexual misconduct and is committed to taking action against discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and sexual misconduct in order to: (1) stop it; (2) remedy its effects; and (3) prevent its recurrence.  If you believe you have been subjected to discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and/or sexual misconduct, you are encouraged to file a complaint and to do so as soon as possible.  In most cases, the deadline to file a complaint is within 180 calendar days of the most recent incident of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and/or sexual misconduct, although there are exceptions based on your reason for the delay in filing.

You can file a complaint by completing the NDSU Discrimination/Harassment/Retaliation/Sexual Misconduct Complaint Form.  The Complaint Form is also available in the Equity Office, which can assist you with completing the form as needed.  The Complaint Form can be submitted via email or in person to:
