World iView: Learning Through Partnership: Community Health in Rural Kenya (Conference/Workshop/Seminar)
Through interdisciplinary and global partnerships, Secor-Turner has established a faculty-led study abroad trip to rural Kenya for NDSU nursing students, conducted research with rural Kenyan adolescents, and partnered with faculty and students in the English department to address rural Kenyan community health. Secor-Turner will present the ways in which these partnerships have facilitated student learning and contributed to health promotion in rural Kenya.
