The Printed Collage: PEARS visiting artist Eva Isaksen (Art/Music/Theater/Dance)
NDSU Visual Arts and Printmaking Education and Research Studio (PEARS) is pleased to present the 13th summer printmaking workshop with artist/printmaker Eva Isaksen, a full-time artist living in Seattle, WA.
During this two-week opportunity, participants will attend printmaking workshops and prepare an exchange portfolio using presented methods and theory.
Participants may register for three undergraduate credits or professional development credits through NDSU-DCE. Grant opportunities are available at www.state.nd.us/arts.
The NDSU Art/PEARS program promotes printmaking production, education and innovation in the Midwest. Directed by Kent Kapplinger, PEARS collaborates with visiting artists, offers educational printmaking workshops and artistic development residencies, and promotes studio-produced work through exhibition and sales. Located at NDSU Renaissance Hall in Fargo, the spacious studio includes a pressroom/workspace, screen print studio, aquatint and etching areas, and an exposure room where one can print using traditional and non-toxic intaglio, lithography, screen print and relief methods.
