Beg, Borrow or Steal: Alternatives to Copyright in a Digital Age (Conference/Workshop/Seminar)

The digital age has dramatically changed the ways in which we share works. It has opened doors to global collaboration opportunities and boundless access to knowledge, ideas, information and creative works. Traditional copyright does not always fit the needs of this changing world and so the world is finding alternatives that encourage sharing and collaboration while customizing the protection of intellectual property to suit individual needs. Whether you are a student, scholar, writer, composer or artist this discussion on copyright alternatives such as Creative Commons will reveal valuable resources for finding material that you can reuse as well as new ways to look at sharing your work with the world.
