MissRepresentation Film Screening-POSTPONED (Film/Video)
MissRepresentation is an award winning documentary film that “Explores how mainstream media contributes to the under-representation of women in influential positions in America and challenges the media's limiting and often disparaging portrayals of women, which make it difficult for the average girl to see herself as powerful.” Stick around immediately following the screening for a panel discussion on how the media can impact body image and normalization sexual violence.
The film screening and panel will be hosted by the Violence Prevention Educators and The Body Project, two peer education groups within Student Health Service. More information...
