Guthrie Theater, Minneapolis, MN. 2002 - 2005.

Architect: Jean Nouvel / Architectural Alliance.

Role: Intern Architect.

Theater building on the bank of the Mississippi River; including three distinct theater spaces.

Recipient, Award of Excellence: Project of the Year (2008). This award was given to the Guthrie Theater in recognition of post-tensioned concrete throughout the building. The award recognized the supplier (Amsysco, Inc.) and the design team led by Ateliers Jean Nouvel and Architectural Alliance (as Architect of Record).

Recipient, AIA/ALA Library Building Award. Recognizing the Minneapolis Central Library, this award was given to the design team led by Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects and Architectural Alliance (as Architect of Record), and to the Owner, the Hennepin County Library System.

Recipient, AIA Minneapolis Merit Award (2005). This award was given to Architectural Alliance for design of the Cargill Building for Microbial & Plant Genomics. This was one of four projects awarded. The jury selected this project due to its "...High Design. The building fits well into its tight site, and the use of materials is innovative and elegant."

Renovation of former University Library into Science & Engineering Library and Digital Technology Center.

Recipient, Minneapolis Heritage Preservation Award (2002). Minneapolis Heritage Preservation Awards recognize projects that promote and enhance heritage preservation in the city of Minneapolis. This award, in the category of "Restoration and Rehabilitation," was given to the design team led by Stageberg Beyer Sachs Architects for the design of the Walter Digital Technology Center.

Private residence on an urban lot overlooking Lake of the Isles.

Recipient, 2002 AIA National Honor Award (Single-Family Residence). This award was given to Vincent James Associates for design of the Dayton Residence. The National Honor Award is the architecture profession's highest award of excellence given to built architectural works.
